FREE ADMISSION April 12, 13 Rail Giants Train Museum at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rail Giants collection contains two of the four surviving 3-Cylinder steam locomotives. The largest diesel locomotive, a Union Pacific “Centennial,” is also here. In addition to our locomotives, we have various freight and passenger cars, our historic Arcadia Depot, Library Archives, and Gift Shop.

March 9, CHANGE CLOCKS "AND" CHECK SMOKE DETECTORS!
STAY SAFE change the batteries in your smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors and test them by pushing the test button when you move your clocks forward. The Fire Department offers the following safety tips:

• Test smoke alarms once a month by pushing the test button
• Replace batteries in smoke alarms at least twice a year
• Replace your smoke alarms every ten years, or in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
•Do not disable smoke alarms, even temporarily
•Vacuum and dust your smoke alarms regularly
•Consider installing a 10-year lithium battery smoke alarm
•Develop and practice a family escape plan so that everyone in your home knows what to do if the smoke alarm rings
