Chosen confessor and glorious ascetic of Christ, who illuminest the whole
world by thine inspired words and thine enduring love for man, we glorify
thee who ever intercedest for our salvation and we sing this hymn of
thanksgiving unto thee: Rejoice, O holy Father Seraphim, bright luminary of
the latter times!
Inspired by thy Creator, thou didst seek the angelic life in the wilderness,
renouncing worldly vanities and choosing the one thing needful: our Lord
Jesus Christ. Adorned with faith and repentance, O wise Seraphim, thou didst
put our old enemy to shame by exposing his deceptions and establishing
Christ in the hearts of thy countrymen. Wherefore, being strengthened by the
grace of God we lift up our voices to thee

Today, St. King Tamar is commemorated alongside the Myrrhbearing women. St. Tamar has taught me so much! I’ve shared a bit of it on our parish blog. Here is the link https://www.standrewfoolforchrist.org/blog/saint-king-tamar-and-the-mystery-of-the-side-gods-design-for-men-and-women
Saint King Tamar, pray for us!
