Some sweet little lamb chops that have delivered smiles for miles to me these past days. ❤️

We have Sky, the gorgeous mini Aussie who started off timid and left feeling confident and full of treats. The way to a woman’s heart is definitely through her stomach. My daughter and I were hand feeding her treats while I was grooming her so she knew she was in a happy place. 🤣

Then we have Honey, we dyed her tail pink a session or so ago and we’re moving on from it. Trying something new is never harmful, that’s for sure! I’ve been grooming her since she was a baby, but she’s still a baby because all dogs are babies forever. That is a known fact and it cannot be overruled.

And finally we have Muffin, who is the happiest dog in the world! She’s also weirdly strong for her size. She isn’t big, but she can pull me around like I’m a kite. It’s very perplexing and I can’t wrap my head around the science behind it, so I will just remain in permanent wonder of her brute strength. 💪🏻

A side note:
Thank you all so much for the immense love and support to my family after we unexpectedly lost our sweet baby Drax. We are definitely going to hold off on getting a new dog anytime soon, so seeing all of my dogs during the week is a pick me up for my entire family. You have no idea how many times I will bring them into my home and show them to my family. Your dogs have been in my kids bed rolling around with her more than you probably realize 🤣🤣🤣🤣

We very unexpectedly lost our dog due to sudden heart failure. We had him for just 4 months, but it felt like he was with us forever. He was just barely over a year old. We never saw this coming. His last day on earth before he was taken away was..so beautiful. We had the best day, the ending to it makes no sense. He was there, then he wasn’t. You were the best boy, Draxy. You are forever loved.

I have a lot of clients who started getting familiar with this gentle giant, so I wanted to let everyone know that he is no longer with us. The grief is palpable. 😞

Kemo got his summer cut! ☀️ 🏝️

Sometimes owners realize that dealing with the long hair can be too maintenance heavy, so there is nothing wrong with choosing a haircut for your dog that is easy to maintain.

Kemo was recused by his current owner, he was part of an animal abuse situation that actually wound up making the news. He has the sweetest demeanor, and is such a good boy for the entire process. He has been through so much, and he is still full of so much love.

My new obsession is the pompom collars. Everyone is leaving with those on. They are so hot right now. Look at me, I’m trendy with what’s hip in the grooming community! 😭

Hi everyone! Here are some recent grooms I’ve done. It’s been hectic over here with my family getting some mystery virus, but I’m on the rebound! I hopefully messaged everyone back, I try hard to not forget. My business is really taking off and it’s just me behind the scenes trying to juggle the madness.

Here we have Maddie who is the sweetest little lady, a before and after of Buster (who always has angry eyes due to how his hair lays for some reason, but he’s happy all the time..don’t let it deceive you 😂), and then sweet beautiful Molly. I don’t get to do many breed standard pattern haircuts, so it’s a treat to be able to do that for her. ❤️

I’ve never talked about my own dog and I just wanted to brag on him a little! We got him on January 19th of this year, and he was 10 months old. He was under weight, had a double lung infection, worms, and a gnarly hotspot on his hip. He also is allergic to chicken, which took us a bit to figure out but once we cut out the chicken..his skin issues went away.

It’s been a few months of good food, vet visits, walking the trails, big cuddles..and he is such a healthy looking boy. He turned a year in March, and he’s probably pushing 120+ pounds now. He embodies the gentle giant stereotype that Great Danes have earned. ❤️

If anyone is asking..no, I’m not the one to groom him. My other lovely half has to take him into our walk in shower and closes the door. I cannot lift this behemoth.

Anyway, his name is Drax. Some of you have met him, if not heard his booming bark sound from my home when you pull up. 😂

I included a picture of him the first night we brought him home and you can see how under weight he was, and then some pictures I took last night just because he’s so cute hanging out on the couch with his toy. 🧸

Milo is small but he has the strength of 65 grown men. It doesn’t compute, but this is the reality of Milo. Somehow when he is on his leash he can pull me around like I’m a kite. I’m equally impressed and terrified. I will ride on him like a warhorse into battle. 🫡

Jokes aside, he’s such a sweet boy.

Milo likes:
Kisses
When I bring his harness out so he can go home
My camera because that also means he’s going home
When I spritz him with cologne because he knows he’s going home

Milo dislikes:
His tail being messed with
Not being able to cuddle
When I don’t let him lick the scissors
When I take his harness off because that means he’s stuck with me for a couple hours 😂😂😂
