If you’re looking for a flashy, thick, in your pocket prospect with a great mind and a pedigree to back her up, this filly checks all the boxes.

DG Goodbye Miss is a 2024 AQHA Appendix buckskin filly by DR Smoking Ice and out of Miss N Sunray. She is correct, stout, and absolutely gorgeous, the kind that turns heads everywhere she goes.

She is:

• ✅ Halter broke

• ✅ Leads & loads

• ✅ Easy to handle, very people-oriented

• ✅ Has been saddled and took it with ease

• ✅ Ready to be started this coming spring

She has a quiet, willing attitude and handled being saddled like it was no big deal, so I truly believe she’ll be very straightforward to start. She’s smart, calm, and wants to be with you, the type you enjoy having around the barn.

I originally planned to keep her as a backup prospect while bringing along my 2 year old, but I’ve decided to focus all my time and energy on that mare instead. This is no fault of her own. I absolutely adore this filly and she’s only available due to a change in plans. If she doesn’t sell I will continue with the original plan.

She would make a fantastic future performance prospect, ranch horse, or all around project for someone wanting quality, looks, and a great brain. According to the breeder the sire is a great barrel horse and so are some of her siblings!

She will come with her custom LV and teal halter with her name on it.

Selling as a PROJECT

Honey is a sweet, willing mare who has had a bit of a misunderstood past. She came from an older couple who were told she was ready for them and their grandkids but she just wasn’t quite as advertised. Her current owners have put time and TLC into her, and she is no longer spooky but definitely needs under saddle work.
She but still needs consistency. When asked to lope, she will offer to buck, so she is NOT suitable for beginners at this time. She needs a trainer or confident rider who can give her the time, direction, and miles she’s missing. Her owners love her, she just isn’t the right fit for their needs.

She is naturally more on the lazy side and would benefit from a job and a routine. With patience and consistent work, she has all the potential to turn into a really nice partner
