Remember our own story of buying a mare only to be surprised by an unexpected baby right as the world shut down a couple of years ago?

Well Luke Gingerich had a young woman come to a workshop and look at what happened after a day?😁

For those of you who would like to see more footage of the beautiful little surprise c**t that arrived here during the clinic this week, here are a few clips. The first few are of their first two times getting to stretch their legs in the indoor arena, and then I also included a few clips from yesterday, where we spent Martina's last two clinic sessions helping her learn how to work with mare and foal together, in preparation for helping them navigate our world together, and particularly before she returns later next week to make the trip back home to Indiana with them. This little c**t is quite adventurous and confident, so for a while he kept taking off to do his own thing, which caused Elsie to get quite upset. So I helped Martina learn how to guide her through that to show Elsie how to remain patient and trusting, so we could then work on teaching the c**t how to lead with them. After a few rough patches, it all started to come together, he found his place, and everyone was much more happy and relaxed! Martina's clinic week ended much differently than she was expecting, but she has done a great job of adjusting and doing her best to take great care of both of them, and I gave her some more things that she could continue to work on with her mare after they return back home.
