Burnout is sneaky because it touches every part of you: your body, emotions, behavior, and thoughts.

How many times have you promised yourself you’d take the time for yourself……and then someone else needed something, and your self-care went straight to the bottom of the list?

I get it. We’ve been conditioned to believe it's ok to put ourselves last, because that's commitment. That being a good friend, partner, mom, or colleague means sacrificing our own needs.

But here’s the truth: commitment doesn’t have to be self-sacrificing.

When I choose my self-care, I’m not being selfish. I’m committing to my long-term energy, health, and happiness—the very things that allow me to keep showing up for the people I love.

The more I can stay grounded and nourished in the present, the easier it is to stay committed to the future version of me I actually want to become.

šŸ’ Reflection: What’s one way you can choose YOU this weekend—so that your commitments to others don’t come at the expense of your wellbeing?

Exciting news šŸŽ‰ I completed an ICF coach training this summer. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in practice coaching sessions.

I’m opening space for 3 new clients in a 90-day coaching program. If you’ve been struggling with setting (or actually keeping) boundaries, or making time for yourself, consider this your gentle nudge: it’s time to commit to yourself.

Here’s a wild thing to think about: 90 days from now we’ll be heading into the holiday season. šŸŽ„šŸŽ And if you start today, you’ll walk into that busy time of year with less stress and more ease.

If this feels like the nudge you’ve been waiting for, send me a message and let’s talk about what this could look like for you šŸ¤
