It was an honor and so much fun to play on the antique square grand piano at the Hearthstone in Appleton this evening! I look forward to more opportunities to play on unique instruments!

As I finish prepping for this Saturday's wedding, it seems like a great time to let you know about the event services I offer. I'm most often asked to play for wedding ceremonies and church services, but I'm also available to play background music for parties - this can be added on as an additional service for the cocktail hour or for a more intimate wedding reception. Here's a few details about my event services:

• I play piano and organ, and I'm happy to play some of each if you'd like both for your ceremony or church service.

• No piano at the venue? No problem! As long as I can set up my professional keyboard within 100 feet of an electrical outlet, I can set up just about anywhere.

• If needed, I also have a speaker to help the sound carry, which can be used with or without a speaker stand.

• Need a mic or two for the event? I have those too! I have a wired mic or two cordless mics available for use.

• I find and learn new music for every event. I love special requests because they help you put your personal touch on the event.

• If you'd like to have guests get involved in song selection for event music, I have simple, elegant cards with a QR code inviting them to submit their requests on my site. Let me know how many cards you need and include them with your invitations. (I ALWAYS honor your "do not play" list, and you will get final approval!!)

• Have a soloist or other performer in mind for a special song? I love accompanying and/or getting to perform with other musicians! I also accompany soloists for solo/ensemble and have been a choir accompanist in the past, so I'm used to working with performers.

• Singing? I've done that too! It's a less common request, but I can sing. Let me know what song or songs you'd like and I'll let you know if it will work well with my voice. If not, I'll happily accompany another singer.

I am excited to announce I am expanding my availability for piano lessons, meaning:

1. I have openings for summer lessons if you'd like a head start or if you're missing piano and want a refresher. Call or text to schedule one, a few, or as many lessons as you'd like over summer break!

2. I am accepting new students for the 2025-26 school year. If you or anyone you know homeschools and would like to schedule lessons during the school day (or on a set day with other families from your homeschooling group), or if your school would like to have someone stop and teach lessons on a certain day of the week, I will be available for daytime lessons.
