Meet MaCollin đź’›
In the fall of 2023, MaCollin’s parents began noticing something wasn’t right: tripping, neck pain, and eventually a limp arm. What followed were weeks of uncertainty, appointments, and searching for answers.
Then came the diagnosis: a large tumor in her spinal cord and brainstem.
On January 2nd, MaCollin underwent an 8.5-hour surgery to remove most of the tumor. What followed was a long and courageous road to recovery filled with physical, occupational, and speech therapy. And through it all, she kept fighting. Just two months after surgery, MaCollin was learning to walk again.
With support from Children’s Cancer Family Foundation 💛, her mom was able to stay home and focus fully on MaCollin’s healing without the added stress of financial burden.
Stories like MaCollin’s are a reminder of the strength these families carry and why support like this matters.
