This homeowner had some damage done to the roof from those big storms a couple weeks back, leading to water getting in and the drywall to fail.

To start we took out all the saturated belongings and insulation that had fallen on the floor, this made for a more dry environment as we worked. As well as ran a dehumidifier after we left each day to secure dryness for the following days.

Now that we got everything cleaned up and out of the way, we can start addressing how much of the drywall is compromised and needs to be taken down; along with all the wet insulation still up there.

After we got all the drywall and insulation down it was time to plastic off the ceiling so that insulation could be blown back in. Once the plastic was up the drywall followed right behind.

To finish we prefilled, taped and threw two skim coats to ensure it blended evenly with the existing ceiling. To top it off we textured the entire room to give it a clean, uniform and sharp finish.
