We wanted to share a little update on Brad’s Kenya adventure as this incredible journey begins to wind down.

Yesterday was a big one. They spent their final full day with the kids, sharing breakfast and lunch, soaking in every last moment before saying their goodbyes. It was a week full of memories that will last a lifetime… prayer, play, baptisms, good food, and the simple gift of a warm bed. Truly life-changing moments. We can’t wait to hear Brad’s full version when he gets home.

After the kiddos left, the team headed deeper into the country toward their final destination, safari! On the way, they made a stop at one of the coolest places ever, THE EQUATOR. Brad literally got to stand on both sides of the world at once. How amazing is that?!

From there, they arrived at their safari location inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where their hotel overlooks a watering hole that animals visit throughout the day. And ! He got to pet a rhino! Just incredible.

They headed out for an evening safari after dinner, then woke up early this morning for a sunrise safari. And because that wasn’t enough, Brad went back out again tonight for a nighttime safari to see all the nocturnal creatures. He said it was intense and unforgettable.

Tomorrow they’ll make their way back to Nairobi to visit the boys’ house, share one last dinner together, and then head to the airport to come home.

We cannot wait to have him back and hear every single story. Thank you all for loving and supporting him and us through this journey. 💛
