Westview Innovates
Architectural Lighting and Controls + Theatrical Integration + Custom Fabrication
05/18/2026
Happy Museum Day! Westview may be best known for theatrical integration, but we also work with museums like the New-York Historical Society and Newport Auto Museum (just to name a few) on projects like lighting controls and custom fabrication for exhibits and installations. Museums are an integral part of communities, and we love helping make sure they shine!

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a familiar face, Bitsy. If you visited the Westview office in the last 5 years, you were probably greeted by our team member Debby's loyal companion. A champion Lakeland Terrier, Bitsy knew how to work a costume and brought joy to everyone that she met. Our condolences go out to Debby. Bitsy will be greatly missed by the Westview team.

A ghostlight is more than a tradition, it's a quiet symbol of care for a space and the people who make it run.
The A. Shakespeare Ghostlight Lamp was created to honor Adam Shakespeare, a teammate and friend we lost in 2022. Adam had a simple, generous idea: every time we build a theatre, we should gift a ghost light as a thank you to the people who bring that space to life.
We didn’t get to make it happen while Adam was here, so we built it in his honor, in partnership with Behind the Scenes. This lamp isn’t just a tribute. It is a way to help others. 100% of the proceeds from every lamp goes directly to Behind the Scenes, supporting their work helping people in our industry when they need it most.
