UnPuzzled Parents Connect was founded from a simple belief: no family should have to navigate a diagnosis alone.
We know the journey of raising a child with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental differences can often feel overwhelming, isolating, and uncertain. We've lived it ourselves.
That's why UnPuzzled exists.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families through:
✨ Connection – Coffee & Connections, support groups, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with others who truly understand.
📚 Education – Trainings, workshops, webinars, and advocacy series designed to empower caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and communities.
🧩 Inclusion – Classroom Kits for Inclusion, sensory-friendly events, and community initiatives that create environments where every child belongs.
🎤 Advocacy – Equipping families with knowledge, resources, and confidence to advocate for their children and create lasting change.
🤝 Community Impact – Training first responders, medical professionals, schools, and organizations to better understand and support neurodivergent individuals.

This group is hosting world-renowned autistic advocate, scientist, author and animal activist TEMPLE GRANDIN at their second annual Empowering Families conference.

We're thrilled to announce we've received a grant from Athens County Board of Developmental Disabilities to get another pony along with a specially designed saddle to support young children in riding safely.

Everyone who knows us knows how important our animals are to our practice (see the image with our pony Cinnamon as a perfect example). Our students receive so much joy and connection from these interactions. Riding also helps develop important motor skills and balance. Receiving this grant will mean that experience will be accessible to more of our students.
