Wonderful reception at the DairyBarn Art Center. The show will be up until 04/24/19. Seeing the sculpture in bloom tonight was a powerful reminder to me of hope and faith in the human spirit. I’m so inspired by YOUR stories and YOUR resilience. I’m so honored to be a part of your journey. When I first built this wire sculpture I had a vision of what it might look like to see the change work that happens in privacy of the therapy space come alive, to have others see that these moments of pain which often feel so isolating or hold us back could be in the light. There was a part of me that worried, “what if there are no flowers?!” “what if if no one wants/needs this?” “What if I put this space holder out there and it lays barren?” Tonight as I viewed over 100 of your submissions, all together in community of healing and growth I felt my soul come alive a little more too because of YOU. Thank you for being a part of this community of healing, we’re in this together. ~Rachel Siegel
