This is what it looks like to turn criticism into cash. Remember when Fox News host Laura Ingrahm said NBA superstar LeBron James should “shut up and dribble,” well his company recently filed to trademark the phrase.
This is an amazing example of taking full ownership of a slogan and turning it into a protected business venture.
We can help you determine what you should trademark and whether it’s connected to your brand.
Stop leaving money on the table and your brand exposed. We look forward to serving you.

When you legally own your brand you have to take the proper measures to protect it and enforce your rights. Kanye did just that. College Dropout Burgers (CDB), a Melbourne burger joint, has been forced to rebrand after receiving a cease and desist notice from Kanye West and his legal team.
The restaurant claims they did it to fully support Kanye, but admiration clearly crossed the line here. They used Kanye’s famous teddy bear logo and the menu had direct ties to Kanye’s album and his life.
The restaurant should have consulted with their legal team first before taking this giant and risky leap. Now they have to face the consequences and rebrand or worse possibly shut down.
