SEPTEMBER!

It's gonna be busy, but we've got so much we're looking forward to this month.. Some things we have been counting down to for months.

We are fortunate we can walk to the elementary school, and we took advantage a few times this past week with the cooler mornings. It's a great way for us to get our day started all together.

Matches for our favorite ALTA season (men's and women's and better temps) start this coming weekend. Both of our teams moved up levels from last season. Sarah's coming back from an injury, and I'm co-captain of my team for the first time.

Phish returns to Alpharetta 🙌 with two weeknight/school night shows. That'll certainly be an interesting week. Hit me up if you're gonna be out there, let's have a beer together!

My little duder starts t-ball this week.. We tried soccer and that didn't go well, so hopefully this goes better. 3-year-old sports are the cutest!

Then, after all the chaos each week, we'll be spending most Saturdays watching the Dawgs play.. The kids get more and more into football with each season. They're already asking when we're going to Athens!

Y'all have a wonderful month. Have some fun and reset before Q4 and all the holiday madness.

AUGUST! Whoa.

I know it won't last, but it's sure been cool out the last few days. My 6 year old asked yesterday "Daddy, it's cold, is it still summer?"

Here we are, back to school and back in our "normal" routines. I'm really, really looking forward to it!

We'll get to our 2nd home (the neighborhood pool) as much as we can this month before it closes until next summer.

Speaking of, we've got TWO pool parties this weekend and a full month of birthday parties, baby showers, and even a bridal shower.

Of course we're looking forward to college football starting at the end of the month and the big, official, end of summer Labor Day weekend blowout.
