I’ve been trying to add beans to my diet for the fiber. I was terrified it would make me gain weight but not so far.
Last night was red lentils with ground venison (you can use ground beef or sausage), tomatoes with chillis, 2 golden curry squares, bell pepper and onion, pkg beefy onion soup mix, 2 beef bone broth packets. Added in spinach at the end. It was delicious!
I’m re-realizing how important it is to keep things like cottage cheese, baked or grilled chicken, fresh veggies, etc on hand for when I need a quick meal or snack. It really makes it easier to stay on track!

But sometimes it takes a while… especially when you’re older. Be patient. Focus on nourishing your body and let the weight loss be a byproduct of that effort!
