Decolonizing Attachment Theory: A Training for Georgia Clinicians
Attachment theory shapes so much of how we understand relationships, trauma, and healing—but much of its foundation reflects narrow cultural assumptions. This training invites clinicians to critically examine those roots and expand their lens to better honor diverse identities, histories, and ways of relating.
Together, we’ll explore how colonization, systemic oppression, and cultural context influence attachment patterns—and how to practice in ways that are more inclusive, liberatory, and clinically effective.
All are welcome to attend- Georgia clinicians receive 3.5 CE hours.
Decolonizing Attachment: Culture, Context, and Caregiving A 3.5 CE course examining attachment theory through a decolonial lens, integrating culture, power, and clinical application.

Where are all my “strong” women at?
We are still celebrating Women’s History Month- and today’s post is about the epitome of what makes a woman “strong”.
I’m not talking about physique (although it is important)- I’m talking about her heart posture.
What truly grounds a woman in security and strength is knowing where her true strength comes from.
A heart grounded in God doesn’t look to others to provide what only God can provide- it seeks God first, and everything else serves as surplus.

If you’re thinking of ; has anyone ever told you that you already are there?
Well, maybe if you’re feeling distant from God, you don’t quite feel that way. But guess what? There’s always a chance to go back.
Talk to God today. Deepen your relationship with Him. The relationship with Him impacts every aspect of your life.

Yep, it’s a random day in February, and I just went there.
And yes, this is bigger than a New Year’s resolution. This is about keeping and prioritizing your relationship with yourself.
What promises did you make to yourself that you aren’t keeping?
Every time we don’t do what we tell ourselves we are supposed to do, we violate our own boundaries with ourselves. How can we expect other people to honor our boundaries with ourselves when we don’t even honor our boundaries with ourselves?
