Feels good being in the driver’s seat!

From tugboats to cruise ships, Transfluid leads the shift to hybridization and electric power!

In collaboration with Fassmer and Carnival Maritime, Transfluid successfully aided the testrun of the first hybrid electric tenderboat, gaining the first Type Approval awarded by DNV to a hybrid system.

Here are the stats:

-40kWh of battery (Can easily upscale to 80kWh)

-Continuous electric operation of 1 ½ hours at a cruising speed of 6 knots

-Engine “Regeneration Mode” allows a portion of optimal load to provide charging of power packs

Silent and sustainable sailing is just getting started!
