Champagne and Conversations is a fundraiser that will be each Sunday at noon at Sadiq’s Bistro located on Campbellton Road. The event will feature a brunch menu and an hour conversation with the candidate. This event is open to the public, especially East Point residents who would like to discuss the vision ‘ “A Promise of Prosperity” Tickets are available on Eventbrite at $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

The inaugural Champagne and Conversations focused on understanding the candidate’s background. She provided insight about her advocacy for mental health, support for small business, and being a visible leader. She commented, “If I am committed to being a public policy maker then I am not intimidated to work with the current incumbent,” to share her intentions to work collaboratively for the community. “We can work together now to put some things in place for the spirit of community development.”
