Katydid Designs

2023 has been an amazing year for Katydid Designs. When I started in fall of 2022 all I knew was that I loved hand embroidery and creating items that breathed life into customers’ ideas. Making the jump to machine embroidery and custom digitizing has come with a learning curve, but is something I never knew I could have such a passion for. Every day I am learning something new (often trial and error) and the support I have felt from family, friends and customers has been unmatched. Often, I am juggling filling orders, grading papers, digitizing and trying to keep little hands out of my embroidery area but doing something you have a passion for never makes an order feel like “work”. I am excited to bring new items and collections to Katydid when the shop reopens January 5th and can’t wait to what is in store for this little hobby turned business in 2024.

So excited to participate in Boutique event this year! New items like cocktail napkins, wreath sashes and bags will be coming to the website this week!
