Ahhh, yes...cats. They love you, but have a funny way of showing that they care. They naturally demonstrate their affection for those who feed, care for, and play with them, even if they don’t always make that obvious.

If you find your new cat is nervous, allow the cat to approach you rather than forcing yourself on the cat when you feel like it. When the cat does approach, reward it with a few treats and let it leave as soon as it wants to!
