You’ve been asking yourself, “Why does life feel so heavy? Why does it seem like everything is pressing me down?” Maybe you’ve even thought, “This must be the end for me.”

But hear this—you’re not buried, you’re planted.

Burial ends a story. Planting begins one. The weight you feel isn’t meant to crush you, it’s meant to cover you until growth breaks through.

What looks like darkness to you is preparation to God. Seeds don’t look alive underground, but give them time and they’ll push through with evidence of life.

Even Jesus went into the ground, and the world thought it was over. But three days later, resurrection proved He wasn’t buried—He was planted. And because He rose, you will too.

So don’t despise this hidden season. God is at work in the dark. Roots are forming. Strength is building. And when it’s time, you’ll rise with fruit that tells the world you were never buried—you were becoming.

Reflection Question:
Am I viewing my hidden season as burial or as planting, and how does that shift the way I respond to it?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that I am not buried, I am planted. Help me to trust Your process in the dark seasons. Strengthen my faith to believe that what feels like an ending is actually the beginning of growth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
