☕🇨🇴 Coffee + Spanish = the perfect blend
Back in August 2025, we had the privilege of hosting our second Barista Coffee Class in Spanish with . We learned about the history of coffee, explored flavor profiles, and even got hands-on with the espresso machine, all completely in Spanish.
We are excited because tomorrow we will be hosting our third espresso and latte art class in Spanish with Flow Coffee Roasters. The energy, the curiosity, and the community around these events keep growing, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We love creating these events to give our students the opportunity to learn a topic or skill in the language they are studying. These real-world experiences help with retention and support their Spanish fluency journey.
🎄🫔 Hallacas caraqueñas en Navidad 🫔🎄
Durante la Navidad, en muchos hogares 🏡 venezolanos preparar hallacas no es solo cocinar, es reunirse, compartir y mantener vivas las tradiciones ❤️
La hallaca tiene su origen en la época colonial y representa la fusión de las distintas culturas que forman parte de Venezuela 🇻🇪 . La masa de maíz, el guiso lleno de sabores y los ingredientes envueltos en hojas de plátano cuentan una historia de encuentro cultural que se transmite de generación en generación.
Cada familia tiene su propia receta y su propio ritual. Hacer hallacas toma tiempo, pero se hace en comunidad, con conversaciones largas, música y mucho cariño
