Searching for Light In Dark Places
Deep down in your heart, you feel something more.
So when you get ready and want to explore,
you’ll find me adrift, just like before,
awaiting our adventure.
Each path is unique, and that much is true,
but magic happens when I’m next to you.
Our dreams become one vision.
The sky is the limit, just like before;
we’ll break out the windows and knock open doors,
then sail mystic waters into distant shores,
and reach a new horizon.
A place where the lost won’t feel all alone,
a place where your heart will always be home.
And if by chance, or out of the blue,
we reach a place we just can’t get through...
We’ll just go around it; what else would we do?
In search of something more.

You can only get kissed like this just once in a lifetime.
After a kiss like this, all the rest are gonna miss every time.
If you get this kiss, you will always be in bliss for a lifetime.
Without that kiss, I guess I don’t know what I’d miss. Suppose I’d be fine.
But because of this, now I’m perma-kissed and I have to make you mine,
’Cause I want you all the time and I’ll love you till the end of time.
And then I’ll want you even more.
And if I didn’t know before, I sure do know it right now,
and it all comes down to this,
and it starts with a kiss.

We all wear different masks. Usually one’s work persona will be very different from the at home persona. It is also possible that we are very different depending on the person or people around us. Different cultures and different personalities as well as different environments can all contribute to the way we interact and feel. The time that we are our most self is when we are alone and that’s a person that no one knows. There are those that simply don’t like being alone and those that prefer it. My question is that with so many different masks and so many different personas, do we really know ourselves?
