Events - The Walk (Little Amal) Little Amal is the 12 foot puppet of a 10 year old Syrian refugee girl. Between 7 September and 5 November 2023, she is journeying 6,000 miles across the United States in one of the largest free public festivals ever created.

> No onsite parking
> Shuttle services from parking location are available (171 Emery Hwy)
> No pets are allowed on shuttles (service animals are allowed)
> No ATMs available on site
> Bringing water is highly recommended

California's new math framework seems to follow a similar philosophy to Catalyst Learning. We are excited to see what new resources might be published for our contextual math approach!
State Board of Education passes new California math framework Unanimous approval follows hours of comments by a public split over accelerating algebra, emphasizing 'big ideas' over math facts and crediting data science as advanced math.
