This time of year reminds us how powerful it is when one family lifts another 🫶🏼
A local Duchenne family has reached out with a beautiful gift they’d like to pass forward — a pediatric lightweight wheelchair for a young child who needs more stability, comfort, and independence.
Remember to conserve that energy 😊
Chair Details:
• Lightweight pediatric manual wheelchair
• Jay Zip pediatric backrest for posture & support
• Anti-tippers for safety
• Footplate with strap
• Extra seat cover + books included
• Missing: push handles, seatbelt, and brake locks
(And Beck’s Helping Hands will GLADY cover the cost of replacing anything that’s missing so the chair is complete, safe, and ready for the child who needs it.)
Depending on the child’s size and age, adjustments may be needed, and we can help guide that process.
We will connect the receiving family directly with the donors.
Duchenne families will receive priority, but we are open to blessing any child who truly needs this piece of independence.
If you know a family carrying heavy days who could use this, please message us privately.
A little equipment can change a whole world. 💛✨
The chair is located in North Georgia- The family is also willing to meet within a reasonable distance 💚

Today isn’t just about giving.
It’s about seeing the families who feel invisible in their hardest moments.
It’s about the moms who lift more than their bodies were ever meant to lift.
It’s about the individuals who smile through pain no one talks about.
It’s about the quiet grief that sits beside the fierce love we carry every single day.
Duchenne changes everything.
It rearranges your world, your routine, your dreams, and your strength.
It takes pieces of childhood that should have been simple — running outside, jumping on the bed, racing to the car. This replaces them with machines, appointments, and questions you’re never ready to answer.
But Duchenne will never take the love.
And it will never take the community we are building together.
At Beck’s Helping Hands, we’ve watched families break down from exhaustion…
and then stand back up because someone showed up with a ramp, a chair, a piece of equipment, or a moment of hope 🫶🏼
We’ve watched warriors fight with everything they have left…
and we’ve honored the loved ones we’ve sadly had to let go from this brutal disease 💔
We’ve seen parents hold fear in one hand and faith in the other…
all while fighting for their child’s dignity, safety, and independence.
This Giving Tuesday, your gift becomes more than a donation:
💚 It becomes a breath of relief for a family who hasn’t had one in a long time.
💚 It becomes access, mobility, and safety for a child who deserves the world.
💚It becomes love showing up in the cracks of someone’s hardest season.
We give because families like ours don’t get to take breaks.
We give because these warriors deserve more than the battles they face.
We give because even on the days when Duchenne feels unbearable, community makes it survivable.
This Giving Tuesday, thank you for seeing us.
Thank you for seeing Beck.
Thank you for seeing the warriors who fight every single day.
And thank you for loving the ones we carry in our hearts forever.
We are beyond thankful for every donation made- big or small or an even a simple share.
💚For Beck and for every individual with Duchenne — today, we give with everything we have. 💚
Beck has also created his own fundraiser! I will post his in the comments 🙏🏼😊
