🎉Today is my birthday! 🎉

It’s always more of a day of gratitude and reflection rather than a celebration…but I’m learning to practice gratitude every day-not just on my birthday… and to celebrate myself too. That’s always been hard for me if I don’t feel like I’ve won. I like to win. Like Kobe said, “Job not done.” 😂

I do acknowledge the growth tho! I grieved the loss of my job, my independence, and some of my closest friends this year. But God had to turn down the volume in my life for me to hear Him. Job titles, successes/failures, relationships, and possessions were never meant to define me. That’s not who I answer to. With that understanding, I am better than I was. Cheers 🍻
