Being an adult is being happy when gas finally went bellow $4 a gallon. Still had to run my card twice ($125 for a full tank) 💸.

If you are ever struggling to fit in a new alternator because you can't get it to slip on, just file it down a bit. Not too much, just enough to where it slides in.. Once it is bolted in, it ain't going anywhere. Also the dealer wanted $1,300 to replace it 🤯. Got the job done for less than half that.

Just got done eith this dope f250 6.7. Customer's original complaint was that the heat was not working. Coolent reservoir was completely empty and it took 5 gallons of coolent to fill it back up 🤦. Bled the coolent system with a funnle and did a pressure test. Stayed at 16 psi for over 30 min. Oil light was on and I checked the oil and there was nothing on the dip stick. Major oooof. Drove to 3 part stores to get oil and filter. Finally found 5w40 diesel oil and premium filter. This truck takes 13.1 quarts and only 8 quarts came out🧐. Guy said that someone worked on his truck previously and must have not filled the coolent back when installing the radiator nor added the right amount of oil. Careful with who works on your cars and trucks.

Did a routine service/tune-up by Rotateing and inflating tires, changing sparkplugs (fords recommended at this milage), changing oil, and toping off coolent on this work truck. Thank God it was a newer one with the 5.0 and not the 5.4 like my truck. If you know you know. Even though ford also says change the air filter, it looked almost new and can definitely still be used. We don't recommend things that are not needed and only recommend things that are needed and tell customers when things will soon be needed.

Returning customer called with an interesting electical problem on a f150. Blinkers won't work if headlights are on or if the blower is on. After replacing this dead lawnmower sized battery with the right one, I started the diagnoses. Funny thing was that if the scan tool was connected, the problem would disappear. After testing relays and going through the wires, I finally found this ground wire that was just hanging there (rusted floor boards). Crimped new connections on there and secured it to a good ground that was not rusted through and the problem went away. Another happy customer!
