Tonight, EIA and EWB will be welcoming guest speaker Dr. Lauren MacDonald! She will speak about career opportunities in global engineering and her research into evaluating the impacts of footbridges constructed in Rwanda. All are welcome to attend!

Our Story
The Georgia Tech chapter Engineers in Action was chartered in Fall 2018 and is a branch of the Engineers in Action bridge program. So far, we have worked on a tag-along project in Summer 2019 with a partner school, the University of Alberta. We sent two members to Humapirhua, Bolivia where they learned the construction process for a pedestrian suspension bridge and gained knowledge to bring back to the GT team to help prepare for our own build in Summer 2020.
