At the kickoff of my campaign for Georgia State Senate District 33, I had the extraordinary privilege to introduce a local artist of international note, Marcus Mckinley Fine Arts
His extensive work includes a portrait of the Honorable Congressman John Lewis as well as a number of other pivotal civil rights figures. Some of his works are on display at Morehouse College.
I was deeply touched and highly honored that Marcus highlighted my kickoff by unveiling a portrait he had done of me.
