A new play is coming.
GRACE PERIOD: TEN DAYS is a story about a family in Atlanta who did everything “right” — built careers, paid taxes, made a home, raised an American-born son — and then one email changes everything. A visa renewal is denied. Work authorization ends immediately. They’re given ten days to leave.
In ten days, a life turns into checklists:
* a job becomes a badge return
* a home becomes “motivated sale”
* a community becomes whispers and goodbyes
* and a family faces the hardest question: what is home when permission expires?
This play is about love under pressure, bureaucracy as violence, and the quiet courage it takes to keep a family together when the clock is the one making decisions.
If you’ve ever lived between countries, between paperwork, between “welcome” and “not authorized” — this is for you.
More details soon.
Not leaving by choice. Just by the clock.
