🗳️Good news, Georgia! The Transportation Tax Referendum to be held this November.

From the coastal corner of Georgia to the north Georgia mountains counties are preparing to make a big decision on November 5 – whether to approve a Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax or TSPLOST.🛣️🚍

🔧 Where’s it happening? In Cobb, Douglas, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Murray, and other counties this is a referendum question.

💡 What’s at stake? The money collected will be applied on needs such as road pavement or upgrading the public transport systems among others. Some of the counties could mobilise billions of shillings in the next few years to address congestion, safety and mobility challenges.
