FCSNP, Promoting positive change through conservation, education and active community participaticipation
The Friends of Cascade Springs Nature Preserve (FCSNP) have a mission to preserve natural areas of the park, enhance unique features of the park, encourage use of the park, and to provide a mechanism for private contributions to supplement public funding of the nature preserve. The FCSNP envision the park as a regional urban ecotourism destination that is distinguished by its emphasis on conservation, education, visitor responsibility and active community participation. FCSNP are committed to the following guiding principles:
•Conscientious, low-impact visitor behavior
•Sensitivity towards, and appreciation of, local culture, history and biodiversity
•Support for local conservation efforts
