Announcing the relaunch of the Camp Trach Me Away website!
https://camptrachmeaway.org/
Camp Trach Me Away is a nonprofit summer and family camp for medically fragile children and teens who are tracheostomy-dependent. In a medically supported, adaptive environment, campers build confidence, form friendships, and experience the joy of just being kids.
Help us grow: Comment, like, and repost to spread awareness and reach more families, donors, and community partners.
Make a difference: As a nonprofit fully funded by donations and grants, contributions starting at $25 help sustain camp programs and expand access for medically fragile trach-dependent children.
Every share, every dollar, and every connection helps us reach more children who need this camp.

What can happen when a nonprofit leader gets the right support at the right time?
For Janet Graham, it meant finding a new way to grow Loving Arms Cancer Outreach’s impact here in Cobb.
As Executive Director, Janet was leading an organization with a clear mission: support cancer patients facing crisis. Like many nonprofit leaders, she was balancing urgent needs with limited time and resources. She had the vision. What she needed were practical tools she could put to work.
That is where collective giving can make a real difference.
At Cobb Community Foundation, people who care about Cobb give together to support the areas of work that help this community thrive. Strengthening nonprofit leadership is one of those areas, because stronger leaders build stronger organizations — and stronger organizations can do more for the people they serve.
Through Cobb Community Foundation’s Certified Nonprofit Professional program, that shared investment helped Janet join a cohort of local leaders building skills in fundraising, strategy, and long-term sustainability. She took what she learned and put it into action by launching Loving Arms’ first-ever fundraising texting campaign.
The result: nearly **$108,000 raised** to support cancer patients in need.
Janet’s story shows what is possible. The leaders featured here are building that same kind of capacity now — growing their skills, strengthening their organizations, and expanding what their work can make possible across Cobb.
That is the power of collective giving through Cobb Community Foundation. One leader gains new tools. One organization grows stronger. More people in our community get the support they need.
When people give together, the impact multiplies. Join us in activating good in and around Cobb. Donate today at cobbfoundation.org or call (770) 859-2366 to learn more.

43 years of impact.
43 years of independence restored.
43 years of walking alongside individuals navigating life after vision loss.
As we go into the weekend, we continue to reflect on years of service and impact. On Wednesday, we proudly celebrated the 43rd anniversary of Vision Rehabilitation Services of
Georgia.
In 1983, Sarah Sentell Scott began this mission after losing much of her own vision in her 40s.
When she could not find the support she needed, she created it. And with that, VRS was born.
What started as one woman’s determination has grown into a trusted resource serving
communities across Georgia.
Behind every year is a story.
A client is learning to navigate their home again.
A parent regaining confidence.
A neighbor rediscovering independence.
This milestone belongs to all of you. Our clients, staff, donors, and supporters. Your belief in this
mission makes this work possible.
As we celebrate 43 years, we also look ahead with purpose and commitment to continue
empowering lives.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
