Our Story

Christine Laikind is founder of SCS Digital Marketing, marketing consultant, blogger, and advocacy speaker on web accessibility. For more than 16 years, Christine's experience in traditional and digital marketing services have helped small businesses in the B2B and B2C sectors strengthen their brand awareness and increase revenues.

Her background consists of being a marketing executive for a computer OEM, a proprietor of an art gallery and pottery studio on a main street and President of a managed IT service provider. She also worked as a membership manager for a local chamber and as a creative director for a landscape association. She grew up with two parents that owned their own businesses. Christine is the only member of her family that has two degrees; a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an MBA in Business Administration. She has also been an adjunct professor for seven years, teaching adults principles of business for creatives and fundamentals of digital arts.

Today SCS Digital Marketing specializes in content marketing, marketing automation and SEO, but also does other aspects of digital marketing with the help of her fantastic network of experienced team members. SCS Digital Marketing marketing services are tailored specifically to the needs of each of the clients she works with. Together they develop strategic, custom campaigns so that they will become successful.

In her spare time, she enjoys creating watercolor monoprints, baking in the kitchen, riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle among the Smokey Mountains and Appalachian Mountains.
