We can recall Jeremiah's frustration with God, but that is grace. God reminds Jeremiah that the opportunity to turn from what was out of alignment/obedience is available to all. How beautiful is it to recognize that God's love goes to the furthest extent to reunite with the hearts of Their children.

Does it frustrate you to see people have multiple chances to get it right with God? Perhaps it is a signal to search your own heart. If you did not remember God in the way that you do, perhaps you'd be in the same place. You'd want the grace that God extends to others to extend to you. This is an important moment in the history of the world to remember the lessons of God's heart, because that is what keeps you connected.

There are some surface-level meanings for this verse, including Jeremiah separating those who have faith and those whom he refers to as "Faithless" (Jer 12:1). Let's take another look at what's here. The people being referred to have been "planted and they have taken root." This points back to a few key things. First, God wants all of their children to succeed. They are to have opportunities to experience God's goodness and to enjoy their harvest. Every one of us has a choice to make in response to how we respond to God's call out to us. The key is that God is always exploring our hearts. Even though people speak of God, they are not always aligned with God. Sometimes, we get hung up on how healthy the plant looks and the fruit that it is bearing, but God is always looking at whether or not it is good fruit. God knows when the hearts are far from Them. We may not always see how it is addressed, but our time is better spent ensuring that our hearts are near to God and focused on what They desire for us.
