Green Power EMC secures renewable energy for 38 of Georgia’s Electric Membership Cooperatives (EMCs)

What a journey we’ve had in 2023! Covering more than 2,300 EV-powered miles across Georgia, the Green Power EMC Solar Demo Trailer traveled to eight events this year, starting with its inaugural demonstration at Sumter EMC's annual meeting held in August. The interactive educational trailer was also featured at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie and two Green Power EMC solar workshops, as well as annual meetings at Okefenoke REMC, Cobb EMC, Canoochee EMC and Carroll EMC. Outfitted with four solar panels, an inverter and an integrated data monitoring system, the trailer demonstrated the capabilities of utility-scale and rooftop solar systems to event attendees. 🌞⚡️
