Another one! *DJ Khaled voice* This is my client’s third transaction with me this year! Congratulations to my buyers on the purchase of their new home! This was the craziest 14 day transaction, but nonetheless we made it to the closing table! ✨

What can you get in Atlanta/Metro Atlanta for $300k? Buyers, this post is for you! The current real estate market here in Atlanta is crazy competitive for buyers because inventory is so low. However, don’t let it stop you from finding your new home!

I have a few helpful tips for buyers in this current seller’s market:

1. Location, location, location! Location is everything, hence why I typed it three times lol. Do research on the specific area(s) you’re interested in so you know what to expect and what you’ll get in your price point.

2. Know exactly what you’re looking for in a home, but at the same time be realistic in your criteria.

3. Get pre approved! I know Realtors say this all the time, including myself but it’s very important. Buyer’s you need to know what your purchase power is so you can find the home that fits in your budget.

4. Competitive market equals competitive offers. Understand, you may or may not receive any seller’s concessions (seller contributing toward closing costs). Also, submitting offers under list price in this competitive market will not get you into your dream home.
