"When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established, what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? Yet you have made them a little lower than the angels, and crowned them with glory and honor." Psalm 8:3-5

Dear friends,

The verses above plainly state that God specifically created human beings (that's us!) "a little lower than the angels" and that we have have been crowned with "glory and honor." Wow. I don't know about you, but that shakes me up a bit when I think about how imperfect I am. But it does make me want to try to do a little bit better today. Better in how I treat people. Better in how I do my job. Better in how I express love. Better in how I think of myself. Better in how I practice gratitude for the goodness and faithfulness of a loving God.

Imagine a world where we more consistently lived in the awareness of this understanding. May it be so.
