Important Notice Regarding YMCA Youth Sports

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta has been actively monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and the impact of the epidemic in the communities we serve. We are implementing proactive measures at all Y facilities to limit exposure and maintain a safe environment, including additional deep cleaning and sanitation measures, postponing large events, and increasing communications efforts to keep our members informed and up-to-date.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are suspending all YMCA youth sports practices and games effective immediately through Monday, March 30, 2020. At that time, we will reassess the environment and determine next steps. (Georgia Soccer has suspended all play in sanctioned activities through April 30, 2020, but will reassess as needed).

At this time, YMCA branches remain open. However, we are following the guidance of the Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control and area school systems, as the well-being of our members, participants, staff and their families remains our top priority.

Thank you for helping our communities stay safe and healthy. We will keep you updated as new information becomes available.

This past weekend teams wrapped up the Winter 2020 Futsal season with playoffs! Congratulations to the winning teams: (U14) The Orange U14s, (U16) Sunflower FC and (U19) Orange Katz!

You have the opportunity to become a A USSF Referee! DDYSC is offering a Grassroots Entry Course. This class is available for participants age 13 and older and is designed for entry level referees.

This course is available on the following dates:

The first class will take place on Saturday, January 25. Class time is 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

The second class will take place on Sunday, February 16. Class time is 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
