The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the perfect blend of luxury and outright smile-producing performance. To help the beastly 6.2L supercharged LT4 breathe a little easier, we installed a cold air intake system from . We then installed the Pro Kit suspension system from , bringing it down a tad for a more aggressive stance and improving ride quality and handling. Our friends at sent us a set of their gorgeous HFX-2’s that we stripped raw and coated in a flawless Hyper Gunmetal powdercoat by our friends , finished with their new modular billet center caps. The 11.5” rear wheels are wrapped in a beefy 325 Pilot Sport tire, giving us plenty of rubber out back to spend at stop lights. In the end, small and tasteful modifications took this Blackwing to a new level and improved a vehicle that was damn-near perfect from the showroom floor. The biggest gripe we hear regarding the premium factory audio systems is their lack of bass. Whether it’s B&O, BOSE, JBL, or many others, they just don’t seem to have that low end “umph” to round out the sound. Though most tend to agree on this fact, the hesitation to add an aftermarket bass package is sacrificing space for an enclosure. We found the perfect solution to achieve premium bass with minimal loss of cargo space! Our customer’s 2026 F150 Platinum received a custom enclosure that houses a single 10” Type R subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. We achieved optimal airspace for the subwoofer, and used every remaining square inch for storage…even accommodating his umbrella and laundry bar!
