As most of you know, on March 19, 2020 the Mayor and Commission of the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County passed a new ordinance to address the imminent threat to public health posed by COVID-19. The intent of this ordinance is to slow the spread of COVID-19, and Blue Moon Electric embraces this effort. In this ordinance, Blue Moon Electric is considered an Essential Business and is strongly encouraged to remain open to provide services that are necessary to maintain the safety and essential operation of residences and Essential Businesses as well as to perform any work necessary to the operations and maintenance of Essential Infrastructure including construction. These services will continue to be performed in compliance with defined Social Distancing Requirements to the greatest extent possible.



The health and safety of our team and our clients is our top priority. As much as we value you our loyal clients, we also value our team. While dealing with impacts to our own lives, we also are committed to you. To that end, in the intent and spirit of this ordinance while in place, we ask that your requests for our service be necessary and essential as we all attempt to limit the spread of this dangerous disease.
