Pablo Picasso once begged the question, “Why do two colors, put one next to the other, sing?” Simply put, it is for the reason that two notes put together can paint a picture. Though none can truly answer the question, one might might find satisfaction in the form of Atlanta based musician and producer, Zachary King aka Atlas. Within his mesmerizing melodies and hypnotic drumwork, Atlas invokes a sense of Synesthesia, matching color to a tone, tone to a feeling, and a feeling to an image. It is these these feelings and more than can be experienced through works like his latest album, “Ley Lines of Consciousness.”
