Jonathan’s Story: PART II - My soul is deeply stirred by the rich sounds of opera, jazz, gospel, blues, old school hip-hop, and R&B/soul from the 70s and 80s. Experiencing these genres on vinyl is similar to savoring a flavorsome dish infused with the creamy indulgence of butter and spices, transporting me to a blissful state with each bite. From the moment the first few notes resonate, I am blanketed in a magical trance of warmth, joy, and an adoration for life’s precious moments.

"I found work at the city community center teaching art and English for young children in my parents neighborhood. It was good and fun. I could spend a lot of time with my daughter with the other children while I taught. So I decided to go back to Art college for Art Education and learn how to teach art seriously. (I graduated Tokyo Musashino Art University right after high school, my major was for Graphic design)
When I was about to finishing up the art education course, I decide to marry the guy I found online who resided in Georgia. I always wanting a family of my own and I thought it was fate as it was such a smooth transition to marry this one …and I married. But it ended up being the wrong person…"

Some of you may have heard of this little Cobb County gem. Manami Lingerfelt has been a local artist since the early 2000's. I met her last year at the Big Shanty Festival in Downtown Kennesaw. I fell in love with her art. A couple months ago I decided to reach out to her to see if she would be interested in doing a beautiful human session. She was 100% in, without question. Manami has a very unique story and I can't wait to share it with you! Please stay tuned for several posts of her and her story, and then our blog post we will be sharing at the end of the month!

It’s been a while since I did a post for myself. A lot has been going on. But I thought today was the perfect day to update my tiny little following. Life has been hectic, anxious, magical, forward, peaceful, exciting, exhausting, unpredictable, and all of the emotions that make us human. I have to say, it’s been all the right things though. Rounding up on 3 years since I separated from an 18 year marriage/relationship, I purchased my first home, and unexpectedly, bought a new car. Yes, all within the same month, roundabout. For me, things usually happen in pairs, or in threes. And that’s okay. It’s a great little reminder that the universe is at work, shuffling me along, and pushing all the things at me once, instead of a little here...a little there. Did I ever think at 39 I would be where I am? And when I say that, I don’t mean I am disappointed. I say it with excitement to see how far I have come on my own in the 3 short years since I was reborn. I am continuing to be excited for what is to come. And the growth that will take place in business, in life, with my son, with the love in my life, and the moving forward of it all. I am so thankful and grateful for all the people and opportunities that have crossed my path. Thank you everyone for all the wishes today and for all the love you continue to send my way. Oh, and the kiddo (my 12 year old boy) took this photo of me 💕☮️
