Faith in Jesus, the Son of God can change your life like it did for this woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. But one day, after hearing about Jesus, she broke through the crowd and touched His robe and when her faith connected with His power, she was healed immediately!

Mark 5:25-34
25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
30 At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
31 “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ”
32 But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. 34 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

This 4th Advent season sermon will teach you the true meaning of love and place the degrees or levels of love in the right perspective. And who knows? God may even bless you to love Him and others better from hearing this message. And that should be our top goal in life.

What’s Love got to do with God sending His Jesus to die for our sins and save us from hell in the end?

Answer: Love had and still has everything to do with it.
(John 3:16) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”✝️

TO TRULY UNDERSTAND THIS ADVENT MESSAGE WE HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE LEVELS OF LOVE OR DEGREES OF LOVE.

Contrary to some worldly sayings like:
“EITHER YOU LOVE ME OR YOU DON’T” and “I LOVE YOU BUT I’M NOT IN LOVE WITH YOU”🤣

I SHARED IN THIS MESSAGE THAT THERE ARE AT LEAST 3 LEVELS OF LOVE FROM GREEK PHILOSPHY FOUND IN THE BIBLE:

1. EROS refers to physical or sexual love. The word eros was commonly used in the Greek-speaking world of New Testament times. ...
2. PHILOS means warm affection or friendship. ...
3. AGAPE means sacrificial Christian Love especially distinct from erotic or emotional love

GOD ALSO DEFINED LOVE IN THE BIBLE:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

CONCLUSION
John 15:12-13
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.🙌🏾❤️

The shepherds in Luke chapter 2 were doing there work when God sent the angel to proclaim the good news to them about the birth of His Son and Savior, Jesus Christ. When they verified the news by seeing the Baby Jesus, they rejoiced and told everyone about it.

✝️ Luke 2:10-20
10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14 “Glory to God in the highest,�And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
15 So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. 17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. 18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
