After careful consideration, the difficult decision has been made to dissolve S.C.A.R. This decision was not taken lightly. We remain committed to the Sickle Cell Community, and making sure awareness is made and support is received!

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to those that supported our mission over the years. The contributions made to this organization have been invaluable, and we are grateful for the strides you helped us champion!

A new Disney show centering Black girls and their love for roller skating and competition in a pilot by Marsai Martin is coming to our screens! But get this - the leader of the roller club has Sickle Cell. We are so excited for the representation and recognition that we hope for this show to bring to Sickle Cell Awareness!
