Antique Tibetan (Dzi) Agate available now! Known as "Heaven's Pearl" in China and loosely interpreted as "shine, clearness, brightness, or splendor" in Tibetan. Lots of mystery and history surrounds this stone, which has been found as early as 2500 B.C. Many religions and belief systems turn to the powers and energies of the stone for assistance in holistic medicine. No one knows the exact techniques that were used for etching or carving the beads. Tibetans believed dZi beads to be insects that became petrified and were left as gifts to people with good karma. The beads are said to bring the wearer good fortune, health, and luck.
