Pet Sitting Or A Boarding Kennel: Which Is Better For Your Dog? 08/01/2018

It's definitely a personal decision. Depending on the pet, I am a fan of both. Just be sure to do your due diligence when it comes to picking a pet sitter or a boarding facility.

Pet Sitting Or A Boarding Kennel: Which Is Better For Your Dog? The hardest part of planning a vacation isn’t picking the perfect hotel or finding cheap airfare—it’s deciding what to do with the dog. You wish you could take them with you, but a vacation destination isn’t always the best place …

Let's help find this sweet girl a forever home! One of our Lucky Lab clients has opened their home to this pup and is fostering her. She would love a family to call her own. Please learn more about Aspen below!

Please help us find a home for Aspen!

We have been fostering this sweet girl for the Oconee Regional Humane Society. She is a 2-3 year old German Shepherd mix who was abandoned at the shelter in January with her 8 puppies. She is about 20” tall at the shoulder and weighs around 60 pounds. She is a gentle soul and will make a wonderful pet for the right family. She is completely housebroken, gets along well with other dogs, and has beautiful house manners. She walks well on a leash and is very low energy around the house. She is learning to get comfortable with a crate, but we have been leaving her loose in house for short periods of time while we are gone and she has been perfectly well behaved. She has a little bit of storm anxiety but will calm down and lay by your side when leashed.

Aspen is a sweet girl who has seen a lot of trauma and transition in her short life and it shows in her worried face. She is not attention demanding, but would do best in a home with human companionship. She needs a stable, forever home to help her get her “happy” back.

If you are interested or would like to meet her in person, please contact Jeanne Stoffel at 770 241-0879 or [email protected].
