Pathways/MISI ServicePoint Support
ServicePoint HMIS software news, tips and tricks from Pathways MISI
New ServicePoint Housing Inventory Chart (HIC) Supplement and Sheltered/Unsheltered Point in Time (PiT) reports are ready, in time for CoCs to prepare for HIC and PiT submissions at the end of April. These reports contain recent HUD changes and minor fixes.
New VA SSVF Data Collection Requirement
SSVF Project Entry and Project Exit assessments now include a question about employment status.
Pathways MISI has added the question to entry and exit assessments for all SSVF-funded Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing programs. The additional question is now required by the Veterans Administration, so it can obtain employment information about the people served in these programs.
Effective immediately, employment Status data must be collected for actively enrolled heads of households and other adults who receive SSVF-funded Homelessness Prevention or Rapid Re-housing. The VA will check data quality for this field beginning with the June 2018 SSVF upload.
If you are an SSVF grantee in an Pathways MISI partner community and have questions about this new requirement, reach out to us at help.pathwaysmisi.org or 800-536-6474.
ServicePoint version 5.12.43 is now available. This minor upgrade implements fixes for HUD CoC APR, ESG CAPER, and PATH reports.
To correct an issue that has affected some Pathways MISI clients, Mediware developers adjusted report logic to include income records whose end dates are the same as the Entry, Interim, or Exit, respectively.
For more information about this software release, contact us.
Mediware will expand the Wednesday weekly ServicePoint maintenance window on 06/14/2017 to two hours between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM CST.
The extra maintenance window time is needed so that engineers can perform upgrades on Advanced Reporting Tool (ART) servers.

HUD has released its 2017 HMIS Data Dictionary, available for download at https://www.hudexchange.info/resource/3824/hmis-data-dictionary/ . Look for new required system logic and data dependencies, and new and changed data elements to be incorporated in ServicePoint by October 1.
Most System Performance Measures (SPMs) reports required for this year's Continuum of Care funding process are now available in ServicePoint's ART Gallery. Others will be available soon.
Continua of Care have until May 31, 2017 to submit HUD System Performance Measures (SPMs) for scoring in this year's Continuum of Care funding process. This year, HUD is also allowing you to re-submit previous year (2015) SPM results.

The following reports are not yet ready for use:

0705A and 0705B reports are for communities approved to serve Category 3 Homeless clients. As these reports are not required this year, we do not expect Mediware to release them soon.
Important Note: to ensure you are running the correct SPM reports, make sure you are using reports from the following folder: Public Folder > ART Gallery reports and Resources > ART Gallery Reports.
