Ozzie On The Move

Just wanted to check in because I've been a little quiet lately.

Most of the posts you've been seeing are actually scheduled reels I made before surgery. Recovery has been a lot harder than I expected. I'm 10 days post-op and still relying pretty heavily on pain medication just to function. I've been sleeping most of the day, and even walking around is still really difficult.

Yesterday I ended up back in the ER because of some post-op complications. Thankfully everything was able to be treated there, and I didn't get stuck there. I have an appointment with my surgeon on Tuesday to go over the issues I'm still dealing with, so I'm hoping to get some answers and continue moving in the right direction.

Through all of this, Ozzie has been an absolute angel. He's been so incredibly gentle and calm, happily spending most of his days curled up beside me while we nap together. I think he's perfectly content with all the extra cuddle time, especially with how unbearably hot it's been outside.

I'm hoping I'll start feeling more like myself soon and be up for chatting with all of you again. Thank you for sticking around and for all of the kindness and support you've shown me. It truly means so much.
